Vision :
Becoming the creative, innovative, and excellent study program of biomedical engineering
Misi :
Biomedical Engineering is the application of the technique and engineering principles in the medical field. This field combines the design capability and problem solving of an engineer in the medical field, such as diagnosing, supervising and treating. This field has fast developed since more than 50 years ago, requires human resources with a special expertise in medical instrumentation and equipment, data analysis, medical image, developing health information system. Biomedical system supports medical procedures, including data collection, analysis, diagnosis, and therapy. The basic technique and sciences, including the basic and advanced electronics, computer, anatomy and physiology, biomedical physics, biomedical transducer and instrumentation, and biomedical system design are required.

The biomedical engineering is stated to be a new branch of the medical science if compared to the other types of engineering. It is common that two disciplines form a new interdisciplinary discipline. The most well-known application of biomedical engineering is biocompatible prosthetics in addition to different types of medical equipment such as micro implants, imaging equipment such as Magnetic Resonance Imaging and Electroencephalogram, regenerative network growth, pharmaceutical drugs, and biological therapy.
