ABOUT THE STUDY PROGRAM OF ACCOUNTING
The Study Program of Accounting (undergraduate level) is one of the study programs at Bali Dwipa University which produces professional Bachelors of Economics in accounting. The basic skills they have are: internal and external financial auditing, management accounting, taxation, and information system. They are equipped with the entrepreneurial spirit. Accounting and Accounting Information importantly contribute to the planning, controlling, and evaluation of the organiational activities (all General Managers should know and have the access to the accounting data before their business policies are made); externally, accounting also importantly contributes to the decisions made by creditors or investors. Cost Accounting records and controls the production cost of a product. Budgetting is useful to management for calculating and cotrolling the work plan in relation to sales/revenue plan, the costs of the products sold, and the production costs. General Accounting records and contols the daily tansactions and prepare financial statements and other related types of information. Accounting Information System designs the accounting system and processes the accounting data (manually or using the other supporing tools). Taxation (Tax Accounting) plans and controls the obligation-related problems as the tax object. Internal auditing investigates the company’s operation and what is related to the company’s policy, and evaluates the company’s performance.
WHAT IS LEARNED IN THE STUDY PROGRAM OF ACCOUNTING?
The Study Program of Accounting is the one that produces professional bachelors of economimcs in accounting.
